If you are not from a semi-tropical paradise on the sea, you may not know what a mangrove is. Mangroves are trees that grow in saltwater. They are the ONLY trees on Earth that can do this. They have big green shiny leaves and trunks that branch out like spindly legs. In between those woody legs reef fish of all types hatch and grow. Mangroves are the nurseries that keep our waters full of fish and wildlife. Ospreys and Eagles live in their branches. Without them, our paradise would be a lot less beautiful.
