Description

In Greek mythology Crocus was a young man who passed away from his unrelenting heartache and unfulfilled love of the shepherdess Smilax. As he fell to the ground, his tears formed the three yellow stigma of the flower named after him. From those stigma, we obtain the world’s most expensive spice: Saffron. Is this color the world’s most beautiful? We’re not sure, but in our eyes, it sure ranks as gorgeous.
