Description

Handcarved from a single broadleaf maple burl, this yarn bowl is an heirloom quality piece. Each piece is completely unique, and stunningly beautiful. It takes us a week to carve and finish each individual bowl. Finished in Tru-Oil, which is prized by woodworkers to make guitars and AAAA quality rifle stocks. The finish on these bowls is applied by hand, literally one drop at a time.

Maple burls are rare and difficult to work with, however, the end results speak for themselves. This is a piece that can easily be passed down for generations.

Please be aware, because of the nature of woodworking, and of burl wood itself, each piece will be DIFFERENT. The patterns, swirls, and flecks in the wood will be unique to each piece. The pictures shown are representative of the end result however, and each piece will be stunning in its own way.
